WHAT DOES THE GAA DO ?

GAA exists to pooI the resources of its members in order to advance those members' interests.

Of course, the real purpose of our members, directly or indirectly, is to provide a range of aviation services to the public, and to do it profitability.

To help achieve that objective, GAA .....................

• Provides the medium for establishing a professional code of conduct.

• Promotes good industrial relations.

• Promotes or opposes legislation of Government policies.

• Communicates with Governments and other industry bodies.

• Represents members' views in Union negotiations and in the Industrial Relations Commission.

• Informs the public about the views and activities of the Association and its members.

• Co-ordinates member's comments on proposed changes to technical, operational and policy regulations.

Represents views of members in numerous Governmental of Departmental forums, for example, RAPAC, NAPAC, Airport Consultative Committees, Airport Works Program discussions, Training-Education Committees and so on.
